Debate Victory For The Noes In Forbes Society Debate

The Forbes Literary and Debating Society held a vote on the motion that the Forbes Municipal Council has lost the confidence of the electors. Leaders clashed amid criticism of administration over potholes trees North Circle Park stray stock and parking. The opposition claimed the council had spent to its limit while the government cited major projects and looming upgrades including electricity and sewerage plans. The division yielded a large opposition lead and next week the society plans to debate hospital nationalisation with speakers listed from both sides.
