Bogan Gate Show A Splendid Annual Exhibition
The tenth Bogan Gate show enjoyed perfect weather and a large crowd. Winners included Royal Standard as draught stallion and J. B. Closier for draught mare with champions among trotting and pony classes. Many departments showcased fine produce, handiwork, and crafts with numerous prizes awarded to local families and exhibitors from Eugowra Hedger jbeng and beyond.

Forbes Show Delights Crowds And Boxing Troupe
Forbes event drew a splendid crowd with visitors from surrounding centers. A large display of cars surrounded the ring and Jimmy Sharman's boxing troupe performed well. Forbes Town Band provided musical interludes as promoters foresee support for next year's show. Judges included Mr Gee Bassett for wheat exhibits and Mr B W Murphy for fine arts.
