In Yorkton on September 2 at 2 pm the Massep Harris Company sues Kostin to sell part of North West quarter Section 25 Township and Range 7 West of the 2nd Meridian. Tax and seed grain liens may apply. Sale conducted by Sheriff Henry Christopherson dated May 10 1917.
The assessment roll of the Village of Foam Lake for 1917 is open for inspection at the Secretary Treasurer's office from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on weekdays, with Saturday hours 10 a.m. to noon. Ratepayers may file written complaints within twenty days of this notice, addressed to the Secretary Treasurer, by July 6, 1917. A. H. Abbott, Assessor.
Reports in the district note crops are high quality and Malby school improvements remain unfinished. Rumors fly that no tenders were received and another claims tenders were rejected by the board. The Malby Telephone Company held a meeting last Friday evening.
A meeting agreed to coordinate with other rural Companies to cut scrub and timber along the line near town where many limbs overhang the wires. The effort aims to keep the line in good repair and prevent outages.
