Duke of Marlborough Returns to Camp Near Landau
News from the West fumburg Camp dated September 22 reports the Duke of Marlborough, weakened by an ague, returning with Prince Eugene to compliment the King of the Romans. The allied army of England, Holland, Prussia, and 50 Imperial squadrons surrounds Landau, with Bavarian forces marching toward Grabant and detachments moving to cover Brucart’s line as siege operations intensify.
