Rebels Surrender After Skirmishes at Break of Day
On Sunday November 13 General Carpenter arrived with Cobham Churchill and Molesworth regiments. An English envoy refused rebel terms beyond prisoners at discretion, demanding surrender. Casualties reported for Honywood Dormer and others, with a list of sheriffs and sentences for treason, and movements of Dutch troops toward Edinburgh.
