Trials and sentences amid a London treason case
Yesterday several gentlemen were carried from Newgate to Westminster for arraignment. Howard Standish Menzies Dalzell Ramsey Shaftoe Pitcairn pleaded not guilty while Dalzell Ramsey Shaftoe pleaded guilty and received death sentences. The court adjourned for further trial and a royal proclamation address followed urging obedience to the church and crown.
