Shipping and Politics Across Europe in January 1720
From Amsterdam and Rome to Vienna and Madrid, dispatches detail mutterings of war and diplomacy. Volatile fronts include Sicily, Montreale, Carini, and Tangled lines near Trapani, plus ambassadorial Leave from Constantinople and courtly vacancies in Cambray.
