Fire ravages Rennes and European intelligence briefed
The Evening Post notes from Rennes that a great fire started on the 22d of June and burned until the 29th, destroying 27 streets in the upper city. Reports say 1200 hoofs burned and only one church burned with another damaged. Amid disaster, pensions for life were granted to physicians who attended the sick in Marseilles.
