Stolen Gelding and Barn Broken Open at Eybridge Essex

In Essex near Eybridge a dark grey gelding about 14 hands high, belonging to Mr. George Ingall’s stable, was reported stolen on Saturday night along with two or three sacks of oats. The thief also broke the barn door. A reward of a Guinea is offered for information leading to recovery, with payment of reasonable charges. The advertisement lists the horse’s physical traits and invites reports to Mr. Ingall or Mr. John Martin in London.
