Royal assent granted to malt duties and naturalization repeal
London reports this day Her Majesty assented in the House of Peers to an act charging and continuing duties on malt and related taxes for 1712, with provisions to repeal the act naturalizing foreign Protestants. The session also settles precedence of Princess Sophia and Duke of Cambridge and explains laws on the Fewer tax, plus two private bills.
