Theft at Potham stable leads to reward offer
On Sunday the 8th instant Dec 1717 thieves broke into the Stable of Alex Potham Esquire of Ogbourn Wilts and stole two horses and a grey gelding with a 14 hand blaze faced black gelding. A reward of two guineas from each finder is offered. The notice lists many medical quack remedies and various book sellers and publications associated with Fleet Street and surrounding areas.
