Notices of horse plates and legal notices from August auction
A scanned 18th century notice details entries for a horse plate race at Nottingham on August 21, with age cards and entry rules. It also advertises a future plate funded by prize money, plus the sale of horses if necessary. Additional items include libel remarks, parliamentary letters about the Bil of Commerce, and public notices of books and lectures.
