Memorial from Vienna on East India trade and Austrian Netherlands
From Vienna comes a memorial by Envoy Hemel Braining to the Imperial Ministers. It asks that the Austrian Netherlands patent for East India navigation be cited to avoid prejudice to the States and to uphold the Munster Barrier treaties. The document urged repeal of the patent or its cessation and sought backing from France and Britain. Also notes stock sale of South Sea shares and royal attendance at the theatre.
