The soldier threatened Mr David when he spoke of the Centinel. Militia pursued the pair to Hore Camp and Preston, where both men were captured and jailed for trial by Court Martial.

Bayswater Robbery Case Before Bayswater Magistrates

Cat kittens found by a Stockport family

A cat at Mr J B’s house on Edward Street Stockport bore two kittens. The youngsters were placed in a water trough but survived after hours. The mother cat later watched and scraped the kittens from a yard to her warm pot, an act illustrating harsh maternal lessons in the world.
