Auction at Miss Margaret Brightmore’s House Red Lion Stockport Chester on Wednesday October 1791 between three and seven in the afternoon. Sale includes a large inherited feoffee estate with Watsons Carrs works, water courses, reservoirs, dams, water wheels, and dwellings. Also a cotton factory, warehouse, spinning rooms, and plots of land with rents totaling substantial yearly income. Two houses and additional garden land form part of the parcel. Purchasers of Lots 2 and 3 may pay two thirds of the price on mortgage. Samuel Oldknow’s lease ends next October. Mr Holland Warfon handles private treaty sales.
