Woman Indicted For Stealing Twenty Guineas At Old Bailey
At the last Old Bailey Sessions a woman was indicted for stealing twenty guineas from Sullivan an Irishman. He had hidden the money in a tin box beneath the wainscoting of his room. A gentleman in court speculated Sullivan was the Cork murder suspect advertised in Irish papers. Garrow investigated and confirmed the claim. Sullivan and his brother were apprehended in the Borough, examined at Union Hall, and sent to Ireland.
