Emigrants Deceived by Dutch Vessel to Calais
A Dutch gentleman arrived Thursday with French emigrants from Flushing aboard a Dutch ship commanded by Charles Marr Lanp. The captain diverted to Calais claiming ship salvation. Grenadiers dragged emigrants from deck to prison, risking lives.
