Trial at Bar Proposed for Middlesex Jury case

Friday November it Mr Mingay obtained a Rule for the Defendant to show cause why there should not be a Trial at Bar. He made his rule absolute by consent of Mr Birskine who thought it fit for a trial at bar to call material witnesses. It was appointed for the second day of next Term and expected to last one day. The trial was proposed to be by a Middlesex Jury to save cost of bringing a Suffolk jury.
