Law report on Cave Otway will revocation question
The case concerns Sir Thomas Cave's heiress and the nephew seeking property tied to a will. The defendant, who married the testator's daughter, claimed a revocation via a postscript deed, while counsel argued the deed did not revoke the will. The matter mirrors Brydges v Duke of Chandos with extensive discussion and a noted help from Lord Hardwick's manuscript.
