May 4 1797 notice reports a mail robbery between Ashburton and Estete with attackers described in disguises. It notes unanimous resolution that when a petition is presented for the throne its readers should hear them, while levee delivery yields no answer and no sign the petition is read by the king, instead delivered to the Lord in waiting.
