By Royal Letters Patent Crang Hancock announces highly approved instruments at his shop No 32 Parliament Street Welminter. He invites nobles and patrons to test the pine fortes and other instruments free of charge, noting exclusive royal patent rights but openness to world display and sales terms.
London April 26 1791 a committee of the Society for Abolition of the Slave Trade resolves to thank William Wilberforce and William Pitt and Charles James Fox for their unwearied efforts. The group vows to persist in appealing to conscience until commerce with Africa ends the bloodshed. Granville Sharp chairs the committee signs off with firm resolve.
A fragmentary 1794 notice details the life of Mademoiselle D Eon, later Chevalier D Eon. It chronicles her diplomatic service in London, pensions from Louis XV, and a volatile career in which she served as minister plenipotentiary, fought in battles, and was twice wounded. The text notes her education, ascent in law, and martial roles with the French army, plus disputes with Guerchy and possible future missions to Russia.
