Daring rescue at sea of Waterford brothers in Bombay
Two Waterford youths of the 75th regiment were swept offshore at Caglaba Bombay by a south wind surge. One brother, from safety, bravely swam through the surf and griped the other by the hair, dragged him to shore, and, despite a heavy blow, remained with him until rescue. A boat arrived and both were treated and both recovered after prolonged remedies.
