In a notice from Love, Perfumer to the Prince of Wales, the price of hair powder is reduced to 1 shilling per pound due to the starch fall. The shop at Haymarket advertises pomatums, powders, scented soaps, and dressing cases as superior and cheaper than rivals, with fixed terms for 17 months.
Congress heard 800 Philadelphians and 163 Trenton residents oppose or support the British Treaty with petitions.
