Alligator Arrives from Halifax Salutes US Fort

An extra from the Jamaica Royal Gazette reports on Monday arrival of His Britannic Majesty's ship Alligator commanded by Isaac Coffin from Halifax. Upon passing the Cattle the Alligator saluted the US flag with 13 guns and the fort replied with a return salute.
