General Post Office Burglary and Robbery Notice in 1796
In Gerrard Street a general post office was burgled and robbed of bank notes and a confolera Le Sus. A reward of fifty pounds is offered for information leading to conviction of any involved. An accompanying notice lists specific bank note numbers and dates.
