ILTSHIRE at the King's Head Tavern in the Poultry reports arrival from New Provi of three fine cargoes of plump lively green turtles, weight each pounds, to be sold daily during the season in highest perfection and sent to all parts of town and country.
A CLINE will begin his course of anatomical and surgical lectures on Monday October 1 at one o'clock at St Thomas Hospital.
The Autumnal courses at Guy's Hospital Theatre commence for the season with Dr Saunders on October 2 at 10 AM, Babington on October 4 at 10 AM, Haighton on October 8 at 7 PM, and Saunder on October 9 at 7 PM. Weekly clinical lectures by hospital physicians continue as usual.
On Saturday the Haivault Foresters concluded their year with prize shoots for Gentlemen and Ladies, a banquet for guests, and a ball in a new tent.
