A female fortune teller, Airs Corbyn, was arrested. four young ladies taken to the Workhouse then discharged after brief confinement, claiming their friends’ fault for the disgrace.

A letter from Garsforth near Leeds dated February 1799 describes a three year old boy with violent fever and eruptive symptoms cured by Spinshyay’s Drops purchased from Thomas Writt.
