The Rural Municipality of Souris Valley No 1 announces a tax arrears sale of numerous farm lands at the municipal office in Brombhead on Wednesday October 16 at 2 p.m. Lists include multiple lots with lot and section numbers and undetermined totals, with the action authorized if arrears remain unpaid.
In the Estevan Surrogate Court a summons summons all parties to attend in Estevan on October 1 1018 at 10 30 am to review accounts of Archibald Paterson and Mary Jane Harrison executors and to set costs of administration. Service details include official guardian, creditors, and beneficiaries in Saskatchewan Ontario and Harwich by registered mail or publication. E Wylie judge signs.
The Cambria Rural Council met on Tuesday with Reeve Fonstad and councillors present. Motions halted payment on a lost cheque to Queen Rose S for 138 and authorized a replacement. secretary authorized to pay highways surveying costs. The council arranged seed grain lien collection and lien enforcement, and to pursue overdue land ties. A warning to farmers to keep seed grain was approved. extra division funding of 100 was proposed. Insurance on municipal office to rise to 100 with contents to 300. Road work outside the allowed division was tabled for next meeting with road foreman Lind to attend. Several accounts were passed and the meeting adjourned.
In the Surrogate Court of Estevan the estate of Michael Feist Laborer deceased. Creditors must send claims to Rosie Feist Administratrix care of W J Perkins Estevan Saskatchewan with security details verified by statutory declaration. Claims must be received by October 3 1918 or she will distribute assets among those entitled. Dated Estevan September 10 1918 W J Perkins Solicitor for the Administratrix.
