Hike price ofDistrict 7school lunchEDWARDSVILLE - A change in school lunch prices in District Seven schools is announced by Miss Patsy Garver, school lunch director, following approval, first by t h e Edwardsville School Board, and finally by the director of school lunch programs for the state of Illinois.Miss Garver said the changed prices will become effective Monday, Sept. 28.Lunch prices for students in grades 1 through 6 will be increased from 37-cents to 40-cents (which includes desserts). All adults eating in elementary cafeterias will pay an increase from 50-cents to 75-cents.Prices in the junior and senior high schools for students will remain at 40-cents, but will not include dessert.Extra milk will remain at 3-cents for students and 8 cents for adults.
