Zaepfel read clippings from the first scrap book andgave highlights of the 30 year period.Mrs. Partain urged everyone to attend a Flower Show School in Houston Sept, 2G, 27 and 28,All past presidents were honored and received corsages of red roses. Also, three active charter members, Mrs. Zaepfel, Mrs. Guriie Johnson and Mrs. C. II. Westerlage, were recognized and given corsages of red roses which were made by Mrs. H. C. Pruett.Mrs. S. A. Sewell, program chairman, read excerpts from a book, “Roses” by PierreRedouet, and displayed beautiful illustrations. The group also voted on various proposals which will determine meeting dates and yearbook assignments.The coffee took place at the home of Mrs. Daisy Stone. Fall floral arrangements decorated the linen laid table and were placed at vantage points.Other hostesses included Mrs. Pat Harvill, Mrs. Margie Ferguson, Mrs. Gene Sharp, Mrs. Melba Bruenger, Mrs, Johanna Fife and Mrs, Ruth Sanders.
