Swift Family ReunionHeld Sunday In ParkThe forty - third annual reunion of the Swift family was held in Sunset Park Sunday, August 31. AH of the Swift reunions have been held in the park with the exception of one which was transferred to the lt;\ S. Hagan home because of rain. Last year the group voted , to donate a picnic table to the park as a token of gratitude for being served all these years in the park.The committee appointed for the project was John Wheelan, Ev-erette Swift, Lawrence Swift and Francis Bruty. The table was finished and presented to the park by John Wheelan.During the businesf meeting, the former officers were re-elected as follows: Claire Keating, president;Mrs. Robert Kurtz, secretary-treasurer. The entertainment committee is Mrs. Bryan Swift, Mrs. Frank Gabriel and Mrs. Charles Cannon. Mrs. Ettiene Swift, Mrs. Martha Swift, Mrs. Charles Ragan, Mrs Marguerite Hines and Ev-erette Swift make up the history committee.Messages from California and Trenton, Mo., were conveyed to the group by Claire Keating and Elizabeth MeCutchen.A short memorial service was held honoring the members who had passed away during the year. They were Miss Catherine Swift, Mrs. Bessie Swift Benetier, Mrs. Kay Badham Morgan, Mrs. Loretta Walker Wheelan and Leo Bruty. jA program in charge of Mrs | Charles Cannon was given in which I all participated. JA vote of thanks was given to John Wheelan for overseeing the table project and to C. R. and Charles MeCutchen for holdingthe pavillion for the reunion.
