INDIANA ASSOCIATION OF STUDENT COUNCILSA Student Council convention was held Saturday, October 10 at Indiana Central College in Indianapolis. Four members of the Student Council in Carthage High School attended. They were: Richard Doughty, Kay Patterson, Kay Addison, and Carole Todd, We were accompanied by Mr, and Mrs. Rhoades,After we got there, we registered and had assembly. At that time they introduced speakers, etc. Then we were to attend discussions. There were twenty-four discussion groups to choose from and only two discussion periods. Each one of us chose different discussions to attend. There was one class in the morning and one in the afternoon. Each was an hour and fifteen minutes long. At lunch hour the students of Indiana Central College entertained with a talent show.I think this trip was very worthwhile. We found out some of the projects of other schools, besides having a very good time.Kay Patterson
