The theme of Halloween was carried out in the decorations, orange mums and candles shaped like pumpkins and black cats.The business meeting covered many topics with special emphasis placed on theclub project of each memberplanting a tree either at home or in a public place. This is also a project of the state organization, and each club member can acquire more points for her club by planting a tree on public property after receiving the proper permission to do so.Mrs. Basye and her cohostess, Mrs. Gene Tollett, served chocolate pound cake with orange icing, nuts, andspiced tea to seven members and two guests, Mrs. Kenneth Petre and Mrs. Hal Potter.
