In making these visits the Superintendent rode on horseback above 2,000 miles.The.achools cost about $525 the day while in session; the aver age coat of teacher for pupil enrolled was approximately$9-60; for those of average attendance, $17.Thera were 43 one-teacher schools in session during the y'eier; 24 two-teacher schools; 7 three teacher schools one each with: four; five and six teachers.
