Their playiug was lacking in spirit, and at times horribly uncertain iu intonation. They should not, however, be severely blamed, as the rehearsals for Mr. do Koven’s Don Quixote” have been frequent, long and fatiguing. Miss Bartlott Davis was very satisfactory as Vladimir; she sang well, acted well and dressed the part to perfection, and was wonderfully pretty in her full dress hussar’s uniform in the last act. Although the rule of the Princess is not a particularly grateful one, it gained new interest under Miss Corden’s treatment, and this charming young artist added another distinct success to those already won in Boston. Messrs.
