Joseph Kerner Chapter Of DARHolds Meeting In Kernersvilleiboatpre«-with(Special to The Enterprise)KERNERSVILLE. May 18.The Joseph Kerner chapter of the Daughter* of the American Revolution met Friday evening at the home of Mre. Sam Vance. Jr., with Mesdames Vance and Philip Korner, asaociate eases.Mra. E. N. Allen, regent, ided, the meeting opening the repeating of the American Creed and Pledge of Allegiance. Minutes were read and reports were heard. It was voted to subscribe to the D. A. R. magazine. Mr*. J. Harmon Linville was welcomed as a new memher.The following officers were elected for the coming term: re-N. Alien; vice-Sam Vance, Jr.;Carl R. Kerner; secretary, Mrs. Philip Korner; treasurer, Mrs. Zark L. Whitaker: registrar, Mrs. W, E Snow; chaplain, Mrs. J.P. Adkins.As there was no meeting in April. Mr* Sam Vance, Jr. gave a mnet interesting report of the state meeting held in Raleigh. Group pictures were taken by Sam Vance. Jr. At the cloee of the meeting the hostess#* served an ice course to the following members: M^damea E N Alin. Carl R. Krner, Zack L, Whitaker, Charles Carter. George Bel lamy. F 0. Whitaker. R.
