Taco Bell may come to HubbardHUBBARD — Taco Bell is planning to locate at the former site of the Red Barn Restaurant at 730 W. Liberty St.A public hearing will be held April 20 during the city council session concerning a zone change request for the site.Councilwoman Lidia Palumbo said the property has reverted to its former zoning status since it has been vacant for more than one year.The zone change will allow for food consumption on the premises. Presently it allows only for food sales on a carry-out basis.Palumbo said the change is also being sought for property west of the Rod and (iun Club through the McConnell Plaza. The change will make it easier for restaurants to locate in the area in the future.
