When she was 11, she attended her first opera and, it is said, that is when she decided she wanted to he an opera singer.Miss D’Angelo began vocalstudies with Hazel PorterSnow and Jater attended the Jnilli a rd School of Music.There she met Gtiiseppe di Luca and retired from further scholastic training to spend all possible time in intensive work with him until his death in 1930. That same year she went to Italy to study with Toti dalMonte.AnaelonSymphonyFirst op!ortunities in opera occnrred while she was abroad. She made numerous appearances in Rome.
