A I. S. Railroad this side of Sullivan, The story also told about a well-known Scotchman for whom thestation was named and who wasa great stor.s teller and an inter esting character. In response to that item telling about Mr. Irving we had a telephone call stating that he was a brother of Mrs. Mary Collins, of 440 Second street Northwest, this city. The name, however, should have been spelled Irvine, not Irving.* * *Other old stations on this road (now the Illinois Central) in that locality, between Dugger and Sullivan, were Buell or Lyonton (now Cass), Farnsworth, Caledonia and Niggertown.
