hopePRESENTS PETITIONS—H. A. Spraggins of Hope, at left, director of purchasing for Corn Belt Hatcheries, Inc., presents petitions to Sec. of State Kelly Bryant to place an initiated act on the General Election ballot. Presented at the State Capitol yesterday, the petitions will place an act on the November ballot to repeal Arkansas’ Train Crew I^aws and will protect present operating railroad employees from loss of employment or reduction of earnings. Spraggins represented Wayne Russell, general manager of Corn Belt Hatcheries, who is a member of the Shippers’ Committee, a group of major Arkansas shippers, which has been organized statewide to support the repeal effort.
