Sawtelle, latemanager of the Chicago Constellation Company, which played in this city a few weeks ago, and left town under pe culiar circumstances was found drown ed in the river at Keokuk last w'eek. The suicide was the result of pecuniary difficulties, Mr. Sawtelle managed the Globe Theatre in Chicago for oneor two seasons, but never proved successful in the role of manager. His remains w-ere taken to Chicago for burial.
