New Possibilities . . .Perhaps Playhouse Managing Director James Awe is in a waggish mood when he discusses the possibility of playing a week of George Kelly’s hilarious satire on little theatre groups, “The Torchbearers” with Mr. Kelly directing and with Mary Boland and Alice Pearce starring, but in any event it’s a wonderful thought.Another fairly slick idea is the possible inclusion in the schedule of two one-act musicals that Producer Cheryl Crawford is readying, the tunp-ful treatments of James Thur-ber’s “The Thirteen Clocks” and Leonard Bernstein's “Trouble in Tahiti”.
