Mr. and Mrs. Ed Holscomb and Miss Crane motored to Areata Wednesday to the home of their daughter Mrs. Colonel Barnhart. Their son Gerald has been staying with the Bernharts. They attended his graduation Thursday night. Gerald returned to Boonville with his parents Monday.The Holcombs have as their guests Mr. Holcomb’s nephew and family, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Jones and three children.Mrs. Ernest Wiese entertained her bridge club at luncheon at her attractive home Wednesday afternoon. Outside guest was Mrs. Ellis Hess. Prizes were won by Mrs. Homer Charles, Jr., first, Mrs. Harold Eyles, second, and Mrs. Walter Richmond, consolation.Mr. and Mrs. Ellis Hess were San Francisco visitors from Friday until Monday.
