Lutheran Bible School ClosesThe Vacation Bible school conducted the past two weeks by St. Matthew Lutheran church will come to a close Friday afternoon with a picnic. The school studied the subject of “Prayer” this year and in all departments, the Bible study, the worship, the songs and the handcraft activities were centered around this theme.The enrollment of the school reached 106 with 13 teachers and seven assistants. Those teaching this year included:Nursery—Mirs. Gerd Otten, Mrs. Tobe Hinrichs, Mrs. Raymond Eby and Marian Fass assisted by Jane Seehusen, Shirley Otten and Judy Schoon.Beginner—Mrs. Loren Freese, Lois Harms, Adel First and Janice Kuntz assisted by Nancy Mardorf, Janet Prull and Sharon Zimmerman.Primary—Mrs. Clarence Stulken, Mrs. Ray Luckstedt and Mrs. Ralph Otten and junior—Rev. and Mrs. Arnold Schlueter. Secretary of the school was Bill Eby and organist was Judy Schoon.
