Lausche Satisfied Slots Cleared OutCOLUMBUS, O., July 26—(/P)—Gov. Frank J. Lausche says he’s satisfied that Logan County is free of slot machines.He said so yesterday after meeting in his office with Sheriff Edward K. Sargent, Mayor C. A. Schuler of Russells Point and attorney Roger C. O'Donnell.O’Donnell is counsel for five Russells Point councilmen who asked Lausche to remove Schuler for failure to enforce the law banning slots.But Lausche said Schuler took olfice only last Jan. 1 and that slots did not appear at the Indian Lake resort until July 4.“I am satisfied the mayor did not intend to allow slots to be exhibited in his town and will not tolerate them/* the governor said after the conference. ;
