Misses eer Maurine Marshall and Ellen Kerner Groome, This courtesy was extended at the home of the regent, Mrs. D L. Donnell.It was voted to accept Mrs Roy Bell, Kernersville, as a new member of the chapter.Mrs. Frank Whitak** gave s very interesting talk on the new Queen Elizabeth and the other Queens who had preceded her. Sheexpressed the hope that the newqueen will bring a stability and renewed hope to other women of the world Mrs. Tom Tarkington introduced C.A R, member, Mary Sue Kerner. who spoke on Lady Martha Washington. Mrs. Otis Mayberry, Kernersville, compared some of the early biographers of Washington with more recent ones.She told the group that Washington and his contemporaries had left little to he discovered because of the detailed accounts written during his time.
