Miss Alys Meyer Ijarl a picture hat on exhibition that the sirls all voted a dream.’* The picture hats trimmed by Viseountess P'Azy surpassed the most Frenchy creation of the shops.Mrs* Taft purchased three hats, one Jfor herself and two for Miss Helen Taft* Among: the donors of hats were Mrs. Kobert Roosevelt, Mrs Edward McCau-ley, ‘Mrs. Murray A. Cobb, Mias Gladys Hinckley and Mrs, Spencer Cosby.the evenhig session Among the early arri\als was Mayor William J. Gaynor* who came in about S 30 and spent nearly two hours at. the show.1 He was met on hia arrival by Mr, Richard H. Williams, president; and other officers of the Westminster Kennel Otubr a-nd with them made a complete tour of the three floors which are used in th^ exhibition.The mayor was accompanied by Mrs. Gaynor and two of his* younger daughters, Mrs. (laynor wore a gown of black broadcloth, over which was worn a lon£ coat of Perian lamb.
