In her petition filed in the Macon circuit court Monday the plaintiff states that almost immediately after her marriage on Christmas day, 1900, there was a disagreement as to a wife’s duties. The husband contended, the bill alleges, that it was the woman’s place to split and carry in the wood, and perform all’ the menial tasks about the house.3Bb.I.aXhr-rc“Defendant has habitually, day after day, says Mrs. Spicer’s petition, “coinmnecing soon after said marriage, quarreled and found fault with plaintiffs cooking, and, further, “defendant would often call the plaintiff a fool in the presence of their infant child, Henry S Spicer, and taught him to swear and use vile oaths.rtCvVswhIn 1903 Mrs Spicer ran away to her father’s and remained there until her husband agreed to revise his code of household discipline. She went back and tried it again, but says' lie was harsher than Ire-fore, and she was again compelled to return to the parental roof. There is no allegation of drunkenness or infidelity. Spicer is a wealthy young farmer. His wife is a daughter of A. S. Rose, a pioneer citizen of Macon county.mwV(wccsc
