Somerset County Hammond Organ Society held its August meeting recently at Beaver Bruck, hunting lodge.Mrs. Lois Critchfield and Mrs. Lilia Miller were hostessesfor the evening, which featuredentertainment by the MYSTIX, vocal and instrumental combo.This local group, comprised of Jim Shoemaker, guitar; John Heist, guitar; Mike Hardwig, drums; and Dennis Miller, organ; provided a variety of today’s most popular music.Mrs. Pauline Davis, musicinstructor at Forbes Joint High School, played several selections at the organ, upon request.Mrs. Dorothy Bittner, president, urged all members to attend the society’s next meet-, ing, Monday, Sept. 18.
