THE MENERALS, well -known area combowill be featured in four stage show appearances during the Richardson Community Fair and Exposition. Shownclockwise from lower left are lance Kirstein, Jinx Jenkins, Chris Snidow, John Tubbs, and Mike Harrison.Menerals Combo Added ToSpecialFair AttractionsThe Menerals, a widely known combo composed of young men from Richardson and Dallas, will be a feature attraction at the Jaycee sponsored Richardson Community Fair stage show The group, composed of Chris Snidow on the drums; Mike Harrison, lead singer; Jinx Jenkins, and Lance Kirsten, bass, will present two shows nightly on Wednesday and Thursday nights. The first performance will begin at 7:15 pm, followed by an 8 00 p m. show Snidow, Tubbs, and Kirstenare all Richardsonites, while Jenkins and Harrison are from Dallas.Highlights Of 19The Menerals have become popular throughout the area and recently have appeared at the The Pit” teenage club, the Farmer’s Branch Teen Club, Irving Teen A Go-Go, and the Studio Club They were also featured on ‘ Sunpin Else”, a Dallas television show for the teen set. All members of the combo have had previousexperience in the field before forming th Menerals.The group will appear at the Canyon Creek Country Club on August 16 Their latest recordings on the Bismark label will be released in September.The stage show of the Richardson Community Fair will be held in the GreenviHe Avenue Auditorium. Other stage show attractions will include a Teen Talent Review featuring Bobo The Clown on Tues day and Saturday nights, and three performances by The Five Americans on Friday, August 19.Tickets will be available at the door, or may be purchased in advance at Sun Rexall Drug, Simpson Barnett Drug, Jane Pass Record Shop, and the Book Shop.
